Order seed potatoes, onions and bulk fertilisers for 2027
You can pay in person by debit or credit card or cash on nominated days.
You can choose to pay online by debit or credit card. Online payments are processed by Zoho and Square.
From January 2027, you can opt in to payment by Direct Debit using GoCardless. Payment by Direct Debit will be in 3 monthly installments in January, February and March.
Direct Debit is available to any plot holder in good standing (who does not have a live warning). If you choose to pay by Direct Debit you must make sure you have money in your account on the nominated day. If you miss a payment you will need to pay the full balance either by 31 January or within 7 days of your expected payment date.

The cost of an allotment for 2026 is set out below. Liverpool City Council did not increase rent in 2026.
Full plot - £60.00 per year
Three-quarter plot £45.00
Half plot - £30.00 per year
Any plot holder who is 60 or over during the allotment year will pay a concessionary rate of half price.
Rent is due for each allotment year (January - December) on 1 January and must be paid by 31 January.

All plot holders are required to pay a membership fee each year. This covers the administrative costs of the allotment such as insurance, electricity and mains water.
The society fee for 2027 is £49 per plot. Members agreed an increase in the society fee at the annual general meeting. We will use the addition money raised to pay for increased water charges and new equipment.
Keys are issued for a refundable deposit. The deposit is currently set at £25.00 per key.
We will return your deposit if you return your key. You will need to pay £25.00 for any additional or replacement keys.
If you lose your key, please let us know immediately - all keys are numbered and will be returned to plot holders if found.
Liverpool City Council have not confirmed rent prices for 2027. Based on 2026 allotment rent, the total cost including your membership fee would be:
Full plot - £109.00 per year (£79.00 if you are 60 or over)
Three-quarter plot £45.00 (£71.50 if you are 60 or over)
Half plot - £30.00 per year (£64.00 if you are 60 or over)
The Committee can grant a special membership - 'Friend of Lister Drive Allotments', for individuals who have voluntarily returned their plot - the fee for this membership is £10 per year.
