Lister Drive Allotments

Using WhatsApp to contact us by mobile.

We use WhatsApp for Business with a dedicated contact number for the allotment. 

This means when you use WhatsApp to call or send a message it will be seen by more than one person and you'll receive a quicker response. 

If you send a traditional SMS text message or normal phone call your message may not be seen.

If we send you a message the contact name will be 'Lister Drive Allotments'.

Our waiting list is currently closed. 

We only accept applications online. You will need an email address and mobile telephone number. You can ask a family member or friend to complete the form for you.

We regularly review our waiting list and may close the list if there are a large number of people on our list. This is to ensure we can offer a plot to people within a reasonable number of years.

Applications can be made by anyone resident in Liverpool. 

You can only apply for one allotment in the city and we may share your details with other allotment societies in Liverpool. If you have applied for more than one allotment you may be removed from our list.

Vacant allotments are offered to new members by date order - usually in late winter or early spring.  Anyone who refuses a reasonable offer of a plot may be removed from the waiting list. 

As of September 2026, our waiting list has 49 people on it. The next person on list waiting since March 2025. We welcomed the follow new members in the last 3 years.

We usually contact around 5 people for every 2 plots let. To increase the number of plots available to residents we have chosen to increase the number of half plots available. 

This means there will be fewer full plots let in future and some plots may not have an existing shed or greenhouse.
